The plantations are located in the northern part of the Dealu Mare vineyard. The Feteasca Neagra plantations are being located in the foothills, on the slope with slight inclinations of 5-15 degrees.
The altitude at which the Fetească Neagră plantations are located is between 80 - 100 meters. The exposure of the land is south-east, the main inclination of the slope being south.
Climate
The climate is temperate continental with specific aspects of the transition zone from the steppe to the forest-steppe. Winters are cold with sudden changes of temperature determined by the invasions of cold air from the N-NE direction. Summers have a high frequency of days with high temperatures, especially in the months of July - August and with a longer period than the calendar, especially at the expense of spring.

The soil
Brown, non-carbonate argiluvisol. The texture is loamy - sandy, with a clay content of 30-32%, which increases the water retention capacity, which is an advantage in dry years.
